Cherry Blossoms
The Cherry Blossom Photo Book project focuses on developing and promoting a curated collection of images captured by Washington Post photographers. In collaboration with the marketing team, the work has centered on building a comprehensive campaign to maximize sales, including the creation of a complementary tote designed to bundle with and promote the book. The project has also involved designing newspaper and digital advertisements, as well as producing an animated banner featured on the Shopify site and in email marketing campaigns, ensuring a cohesive and visually compelling rollout across all channels. I utilized InDesign, Photoshop, and After Effects for this project.
Ai spotlight
The AI Spotlight Speaker Series project focused on developing a cohesive and engaging brand identity in collaboration with HR teams at The Washington Post. This included refining visual branding elements, making logo adjustments, and creating animated assets for presentations, as well as producing a range of supporting materials such as presentation templates, shadowboxes, posters, flyers, and digital graphics. The work ensured consistency across all touchpoints and delivered a polished, recognizable experience that elevated the visibility of the series and reflected The Washington Post’s innovation in AI. I utilized Illustrator and After Effects for this project.

Post Leaders gift
The Post Gift project involved developing a unique and creative concept that moved beyond traditional desk items to create something more engaging and meaningful. I designed a “Where’s Waldo”-style illustration using Procreate and Photoshop, capturing the essence of The Washington Post by highlighting the many people and roles that contribute to its work. The final piece offered a detailed, interactive visual that celebrated the organization’s culture and complexity in a distinctive and memorable way. I utilized Procreate and Photoshop for this project.

The Fall 2025 Recipe Book was a curated publication featuring seasonal recipes from The Washington Post, with design and supporting materials developed to showcase the content in a cohesive, visually engaging format and promote its release across print and digital channels.

The Press Play project was developed as a prototype for a new subscriber magazine series highlighting the arts and entertainment section of The Washington Post. The work focused on creating a compelling editorial design and visual identity to showcase cultural coverage in a fresh, engaging format, while exploring the potential for a recurring publication aimed at expanding subscriber offerings.

The Winter 2024-25 All Met Book was a curated publication featuring photographs of athletes alongside key coverage, with design and layout developed to present the content in a cohesive and visually engaging format. The project focused on creating a polished final product that highlighted athletic achievement while supporting distribution across print and digital channels.

The work involved designing a cohesive layout and supporting visuals to elevate readability and create a polished publication that showcased the breadth and significance of his commentary.
The Canary
The Canary Magazine was developed as a concept publication based on The Washington Post’s special section, expanding its content into a standalone magazine format. The project focused on translating the section’s voice and reporting into a cohesive editorial design, creating a distinctive visual identity and layout system to present the content in a more immersive and engaging way.
George Will: The Iron Man
The Iron Man: George F. Will project was developed as a magazine adaptation of a Washington Post special section, transforming the original content into a cohesive, standalone publication. The work focused on creating a refined editorial design and visual identity that highlighted Will’s writing, resulting in a polished and engaging magazine format that elevated the presentation of the original material.
